What do you think of when you think of Savannah, Georgia? Southern hospitality, lively town squares, good old fashioned cooking, and Paula Deen? I know I do, which is why, when I was researching for a dentist Savannah, Georgia, I was surprised to see that even a superstar, like Paula Deen, gets all of her dentistry done in Savannah. What a beautiful smile she has, and if my teeth can look that good, then I want a dentist in Savannah too!

If most people are like me, then they take dentists for granted. You begrudgingly show up twice a year to get your cleanings done, and if you are unfortunate enough to have a cavity, or gasp!, more than one, you will keep returning to your dentist until your teeth are healthy again. If you stay on top of your oral hygiene, however, any dentist in Savannah will be glad to take you in. Sure, you can say that dentists “look” for cavities in order to make more money, but I can guarantee you that the majority of dentists are not so sadistic. I am sure that dentists enjoy low maintenance patients just as much as we would like to be considered one of them!

Dentists in Savannah, or even your own area, can have a specialty, or they can even practice general dentistry. Your average, run of the mill dentist, can cover all of your basic oral health needs. They can also help with individualized patient care plans. It is that dentist that goes above and beyond just “average care” that makes for someone special. You want to be remembered for your individual wants and needs, and not as just another mouth to fix.

Sometimes I see dentists as the unsung heroes. Just look at the things I thought of when thinking about Savannah. Dentists did not make my top four list, and they probably would not even make my top 100 things to think about when researching an area. However, that does not make them any less important. I associated Paula Deen with her Southern hospitality, cooking, Savannah drawl, and of course, her world class smile. Where would she be if she didn’t have that dentist in Savannah? Sure, she would still have everything else on her list of praises, but if her smile lacked luster, she would not seem so dazzling up there in the bright lights. God bless those dentists in Savannah, Georgia!
