The iPod of today is not only restricted to listening music but it can even offer you the facility of playing different games. The iPods are becoming extremely popular among the young boys and girls. The first iPod was introduced by Apple Inc. It was the classic iPod which was the first iPod having all the special features.

The iPod Touch and the iPhone have been believed to be the biggest inventions since the time iPods first were introduced. With an iPod you can not only listen to your favourite tracks but you can even play the different games. An iPod consists of built-in fun games that can make your musical experience even more exciting and fun-filled. The latest in the iPod games is the iPod touch games. When I purchased an iPod for myself I thought that the iPod would consist of the regular tic tac toe or the Packman type games, but I was wrong my iPod had much more advanced games in it. It had games which I could never imagine to be present on such a small console i.e. my iPod. Among all the other innovative games present in the iPod the one which has won a number of hearts is the game of tower defense. This game can always provide you the best gaming experience.

The iPods also provide you the facility of playing games while your favourite track is being played in the background. You can easily switch over from your game to the song menu. You can even pause your game in between, switch over to change the already being played track and later return to continue your game. You would be surprised to know that some of the iPod touch games can even compete with the games found on the consoles such as Nintendo DS and Sony PSP.
